Keep TradingView for charts and open a filing desk for the document
You already use TradingView. Lician publishes this note, and we make Lician, but the useful move is usually a second tab rather than a swap. The charting job and the filing job do not belong on the same screen.
1.Leave the chart where it is
TradingView is better for multi-chart technical analysis, Pine Script, and community scripts. Alerts on those charts stay there too. Lician is not a TradingView charting replacement, so this page will not ask you to rebuild a layout.
2.Change tabs only when the question changes
A filing, a financial statement hub, or a stock research page that starts from disclosure is a different question from a Pine study. That is the moment to open a second desk. The chart can stay logged in.
3.Use Lician for the document trail
Lician publishes SEC filing pages, earnings and financials hubs, stock research pages, and a screener. None of those are a community script library. If you also need programmatic access, the developers area documents a REST API and the MCP package @lician/mcp-server. A marketplace listing is not claimed as live.
4.Skip the second tab when the afternoon is still technical
If the next hour is still drawings, scripts, or alerts, another research site is the wrong tool. Stay on TradingView. Price for that product: unknown. See their site. Lician Pro, if you use it for the filing side, is a separate offer.
Where the second tab goes
For the document, start at the SEC filings hub or the financials hub. The screener is a list, not a TradingView layout. API access is under developers. Lician Pro is $19.99/mo or $149/yr on Lician Pro. TradingView itself remains at tradingview.com (opens in a new tab).
Questions from people who already chart there
- Do I have to cancel TradingView to read a filing on Lician?
- No. Keep TradingView for charts, Pine Script, community scripts, and alerts. Open Lician when you want the filing or the financials hub. The products can sit in two tabs.
- Will Lician draw the same studies I saved?
- No. Lician is not a TradingView charting replacement and does not import Pine or a community script. Recreating that workspace is not the point of this page.
- Where do I check price?
- TradingView price: unknown. See tradingview.com. Lician Pro is $19.99/mo or $149/yr. The two prices are not a package deal.
