Signed-in research chat

This page is the research chat. The HTML is public. Sending a question is a POST to the autonomous chat route, and that route calls requireAuth. A signed-out visitor can read this explanation. The chat call itself requires an account.

A free logged-in account that is not Lician Pro gets 3 autonomous queries per hour. Lician Pro is $19.99/mo or $149/yr, and a premium account gets 30 autonomous queries per hour. Those numbers are FREE_RATE_LIMIT and PREMIUM_RATE_LIMIT on the route. The counter is an in-memory map on the server process that handled the request. It is not a durable quota shared by every process. A new process can start the count again. A browser counter is only a hint.

Tools exported for the chat include a stock quote, fundamentals, financial statements, insider trades, institutional ownership, analyst ratings, short interest, SEC filings, news, an earnings calendar, compare stocks, market movers, EU company lookup, and filing exhibit text. A tool call does not guarantee that data comes back. An empty cache or a failed lookup can leave the answer without a figure.
